Fixed Term Contract

We're currently seeking Facilities Coordinator based in and around Leamington Spa to work within a state of the art, high output diagnostics laboratory environment as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme, helping society's return to a more normal way of life.

Gain beneficial personal exposure within the UKHSA by liaising with stakeholders on-site. You'll be part of a fantastic team of passionate and hard-working individuals in an ever-evolving environment, with the freedom to continually offer new ideas on how best to carry out facility maintenance. In addition, you will gain experience working closely with Soft and Hard FM contractors.

What you can expect:

  • Management of the Utility Providers services

  • General maintenance of equipment, amending minor repairs where appropriate

  • Monitor activities of the Facility Management (FM) contractors on site and oversee Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule

  • Coordination and management of the staff car park, including any travel plans

  • Escalation of reactive maintenance and facility issues to FM contractors

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations

  • Management of renovation projects within the facility

  • Ensure accurate data input to the Quality management system (Q-pulse)

  • Proactive management of on-site cleaning, highlighting any issues

  • Management of KPI data, creating reports and insights

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience within facilities coordination

  • Strong IT skills - particularly with Microsoft Office

  • Confident communication skills (spoken and written)

  • Previous practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless service

  • Experience, knowledge, and awareness of the facilities management industry

  • Self-motivated and resourceful

  • Well organised and good prioritisation and planning skills

In return we offer you: You will receive a minimum 18-month contract and competitive rate of pay £30,537 and a 10% retention payment (paid at 9 and 18 months). Additional benefits include Company Sick pay and Overtime Pay.

Working hours and shift times

The role will work on rotating day, 4 on/4 off shift pattern (including some weekend work) with staggered start times

Compliance checks
