Fixed Term Contract

We're currently seeking a Training Coordinator based in and around Leamington Spa to work within a state of the art, high output diagnostics laboratory environment as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme, helping society's return to a more normal way of life.

What you can expect:

  • Support the training team with the development and maintenance of training programmes covering all areas of training activity and ensuring a smooth training journey for staff.

  • Assign training activities to roles, manage training and attendance records and associated assessments adhering to all necessary compliance requirements.

  • Develop and maintain detailed training plans and clear, user-friendly schedules

  • Create and issue timely and informative individual training communications, working closely with onboarding team and the induction co-ordinator.

  • Develop and maintain an engaging and informative intranet presence.

  • Provide proactive and accurate administrative and detailed logistical support for all learning events, making sure the required facilities, equipment and materials are available and suitable for use and, on the day, providing co-ordination support and 'meet/greet'.

  • Co-ordinate eLearning training programmes, assigning modules, generating reports and resolving issues with product providers in a professional timely manner.

  • Support the delivery of training/development events (use of Mentimeter, support with virtual break-out rooms etc).

  • Liaise with external providers as required, ensuring a smooth interface between lab and the third party and providing logistical/co-ordination support.

  • Develop and implement regular, insightful training reporting to senior management.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a highly regulated pharma/laboratory environment or similar

  • Experience working with a LMS platform e.g. Q-Pulse, ComplianceWire, SAP, etc.

  • Experience using Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with experience of delivering to objectives in a dynamic environment

Desirable

  • Experience performing training audits

  • Experience of co-ordinating interactive training programs in a virtual and/or remote environment

  • Knowledge of live streaming platforms

In return:

You will receive a minimum 18-month contract with opportunity to go permanent and competitive rate of pay £30,537 and a 10% retention bonus (paid at 9 and 18 months).

Please be aware that Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including a media check is the required level of screening for all staff working at the Leamington Spa Laboratory.
