We're currently seeking Supply Chain Manager based in and around Leamington Spa to work within a state of the art, high output diagnostics laboratory environment as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme, helping society's return to a more normal way of life.

What you can expect:

The Supply Chain Manager will work in a fast-paced, industrial scale laboratory start-up environment. They will lead and develop the Supply Chain inventory as well as the Demand and Supply Planning, Procurement and Analytics teams. To deliver optimum balance of service and inventory investment/quality, as measure by demand forecast accuracy, fill rate, days on hand and inventory accuracy. Ensure close management of procurement activity to time and budget targets. The Supply Chain Manager will act as the focal point for strategic Supply Chain, Logistics planning and procurement interactions between various business functions.

What we're looking for:

  • Ensures continuity of supply and availability for all Lab consumable Products and Services required to keep the site running on a 24/7 365 basis.

  • Ensures inbound flow of Test Samples in line with site capacity.

  • Ensures on-going commercial contract and supplier cover for Lab and Logistics products and services.

  • Supports expert analytics for the Logistics and Supply Chain Functions.

  • Custodian of Logistics and Supply Chain Master Data/BOM.

  • Develops and Manages Supply Chain Talent.

  • Drives Continuous Improvement of Process, People, Data and KPI's across the Supply Chain and Logistics Functions.

  • Delivers against relevant Site KPI's and Reporting.

In return:

You will receive a minimum 18-month contract with opportunity to go permanent and competitive rate of pay and a 10% retention payment (paid at 9 and 18 months). Additional benefits include Company Sick Pay, Covid Sick Pay and Overtime Pay.


Working hours and shift times

The hours are Mon - Fri 9-5.30
