We're currently seeking 2 x Leamington Spa-based on boarding Co-coordinator's to work within a state of the art, high throughput diagnostics laboratory environment as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme.

As well as playing a vital role in supporting society's return to a more normal way of life by helping to break the chains of COVID-19 transmission, you will also gain invaluable experience and exposure to some of the country's most highly skilled individuals in the scientific community.

Your responsibilities:

As an onboarding co-ordinator, you will onboard a large number of new starters, vet employees and liaise with line managers to ensure a smooth process for all new starters.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Helping the onboarding Manager to ensure a seamless onboarding process
  • Liaising with line managers regarding all new starters
  • Issuing new starters with all necessary correspondence
  • Sending out starter letters and feedback emails
  • Managing candidate details on the HR system
  • Arranging IT hardware and software to ensure all is in place prior to start date
  • Co-ordinating Hub access
  • Helping with the vetting process for all new starters
  • Answering queries and questions from new employees

Your experience:

This role requires you to be experienced in HR and the onboarding of new starters and the work involved in a large- scale project which involves a vast number of staff.

In return:

The role offers a competitive rate of pay of around £28,000-30,000. As well as a competitive rate of pay (with a 20% uplift applied for night working and end of contract bonus).

The MegaLab is a 24/7 operation and the Onboarding Coordinator will be required to work at least one late shift per week, for example 14:30-23:00 or 15:00-23:30, and one weekend late shift each month
